As a long-time fan of Phonk, I chose "La Playa" by sk3tch01 and x972 as the foundation of this project. The track's energetic structure, filled with transitions and beat changes, gave me the opportunity to explore a wide range of visual styles while keeping the animation engaging from start to finish.

The project revolves around a single sphere, inspired by the gameplay of Geometry Dash. Combined with the retro-futuristic aesthetic of 1980s computer graphics and the signature look of Phonk visuals, I developed a style that feels both familiar and unique. Neon colors, vibrant flashes, rhythmic camera shakes, and transitions synchronized to the music emphasize the intensity of each beat, while the sphere constantly shifts between 2D and 3D, adding depth and variety throughout the animation.

The goal was not to recreate existing Phonk visuals, but to build upon their recognizable style and reinterpret them through my own creative direction. By blending these influences, I created a visual identity that reflects both the energy of the music and my personal artistic interests.

The entire Project was made in Adobe After effects with the Plugins Element 3D for the 3D visuals and Sapphire for the Glow and the TV Damage effect.
